Subject: Urgent – Missing PIN #s

Dear Sisters, Brothers, Friends:

Over the next three days, InteliVote will be resending emails with PIN numbers to all MIGS registered in the InteliVote system that have not voted on the purposed renewals of both Collective Agreements.

These email letters WILL HAVE THE SAME PINS as originally sent.

CUPW has received hundreds of emails in which members indicate that they did not get their PIN but when its looked up, we find that a PIN was issued and the member never opened the email from InteliVote or from the staff member with the @cupw-sttp.org email address.

Please remind members approaching you about not getting a PIN to look for the InteliVote or CUPW email, the CUPW email may be in their junk/spam file.

These PIN #is will be resent on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and members should be looking for these emails.

After Saturday, anyone requesting a PIN will only received the PIN letter by email, we will no longer be sending the letter containing the PIN out by mail. This is due to timeframes for votes and mail delivery times.

Those pre-registered to vote by phone MUST first call into the webinar/zoom meeting and listen to the presentation and when time to vote, the member then leaves the meeting and calls into the InteliVote phone voting system.

Member’s names must appear on the attendance list of the meeting in order for their vote to be validated and counted.

There is misinformation out in the field that members believe they can get a PIN and just call in a vote, without attending a presentation this not correct.

Please ensure that this memo is posted and shared with your Local members as widely as possible!!
